Aetolia
A short trip through Locris and Doris just west of Attica will take you to Aetolia, home of Delphi which is located on the slope of Mount Parnassus. Aetolia is made up of two parts: Old Aetolia to the west and New Aetolia to the East. Mostly mountains, a lot of this land is uninhabited, but the coast is alive with villages and commerce. The mountainous regions in the center of Aetolia were the setting for the hunt of the Calydonian Boar.
