Polished wood surfaces gleam in the light cast by what appears to be hundreds of lanterns, torches and candles of all shapes and sizes. A large oaken counter sports just a small sampling of Phaetorius' handiwork, from the strictly utilitarian pine torch to a delicately worked silver filigreed lantern, surely designed for an aristocrat's collection. Presiding over the counter, a beautiful young woman tends to the business of keeping the city of Athens bathed in light.
