Cut deeply into the side of the mountain from years of excavating, the stone pit boasts high walls of sheer rock. Multi-legged insects have built dens inside many of the crags and pits created by earlier quarriers. You also see a stone pit.

Plataea is a small settlement on the site of a quarry northwest of Athens. There isn't a lot to be had here in terms of comfort and high society living, but it's a good place to go if you're wanting to go mining for a fortune.
