Scarab Beetle

The following is a list of instructions to follow to form a paper scarab beetle. Once you have finished it, you can push it to make it skitter.

FOLD NORMAL - Fold the tips of each corner in.
FOLD VALLEY - Fold the model in half.
PULL - Pull down the tips.
OPEN - Open the model up.
FOLD NORMAL - Fold down the corners again.
PLEAT - Crease the model several times.
FOLD REVERSE - Move the uper corners over.
FOLD REVERSE - Move the lower corners over.
SINK - Spread out the sink fold.
OPEN - Open up the model.
CREASE - Crease down the central flap.
PULL - Pull the flaps down.
PUSH - Fold and squish down the flaps.
PUSH - Fold and squish the flaps again.
TURN - Turn the model over.
SHAPE - Shape the legs carefully.
TURN - Turn the model over.
PULL - Pull out a small triangle in the model.
FOLD MOUNTAIN - Fold the triangle down.
SHAPE - Shape the antennae to create the scarab beetle.
